Costly Cities
These are the world’s most expensive places, according to a survey of more than 130 cities. Researchers considered the price of 138 items—including food, rent, and clothing—to give each city a score. New York City, with a score of 100, was used as a benchmark. Why do you think these cities are so expensive?
